Class of 1976 — 50th Reunion Weekend
October 9–11, 2026 · Burlingame, CA
Fifty years. Say it out loud — it doesn't sound real, does it?
The Burlingame High School Class of 1976 is coming home for a full weekend, and whether you've been to every reunion or haven't seen a classmate since graduation day, this is the one to come back for.
Friday, October 9 — Kickoff Reception
We're meeting at Twelvemonth, 330 Lorton Avenue (just off Burlingame Ave). See you at 7pm — or whenever you get there. No tickets, no program, just craft cocktails, California wine and beer, and the first round of "you look exactly the same." (It's a plant-based spot, and the bar is excellent.)
Saturday, October 10 — The Main Event
We have reserved the Lions Club Lodge in Washington Park from noon until 10:00 pm, so we will use it as our base of operations. We can meet there and walk over to the school, take breaks and hydrate between your pickleball or bocce sessions, or just come by and help hang a streamer or two. We can't wait to see you all!!
- 11:00am — Burlingame High School tour. Walk the halls one more time.
- 2:00pm — Pickleball & Bocce Ball tournament. Bragging rights for the next fifty years.
- 5:00pm — Doors open at the Lions Club Lodge, 990 Burlingame Avenue, in Washington Park. Reception, followed by our Taco Bar with beer, wine, soft drinks, and mixers. And bring your favorite libation — that tequila you love, a favorite bottle of whatever. We'll have the mixers ready.
Sunday, October 11 — Burlingame Historical Society (tentative)
We're working on opening the museum at 1:00pm for a Sunday send-off. Watch this page for confirmation.
The details
$25 per person — generous classmates have already contributed to cover the venue and expenses, so your ticket covers the taco bar, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks for Saturday evening.
Attire: Up to you. Be as fancy or as comfortable as you'd like.
Registration closes Friday, October 2 — the Lodge needs a final count, so don't wait until the last minute like you did with your term papers.
Can't attend? Update your profile in the alumni directory so classmates can find you, and consider a gift to the Alumni Association to support the next fifty years.
